Dr. Layth (The Scientist)
Dr. Layth Mohamed Salih is a dedicated dental professional whose career reflects a lifelong commitment to education, clinical excellence, and advancing patient care.
In pursuit of expanding his qualifications, Dr. Layth earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. This milestone marked a new chapter in his professional journey, allowing him to integrate decades of international degrees and experience with contemporary North American dental standards and practices.
Dr. Layth is proud being an active certified member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and Ontario Dental Association since 2014.
Dr. Layth is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry since 2016 that followed a one year residency in Implant Dentistry through didactic presentations and hands-on experience in surgical and prosthetic modules utilizing digital technology to perform single, multiple and full mouth implant supported prostheses’ .
Dr. Layth also invested two years in Orthodontic training with Progressive Orthodontics during which he fulfilled the up to date learning orthodontic diagnosis, mechanics, and case management through live seminars, hands on and live patients treatment utilizing traditional fixed braces as well as modern aligners in addition to being an Invisalign provider since 2016 . Dr. Layth proudly confident using digital systems and AI aids in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.
Throughout his career, Dr. Layth has remained actively engaged in continuing education, attending dental conferences and professional meetings around the world, ensuring that his practice remains aligned with the latest innovations and evidence-based techniques in dentistry.in that respect Dr. Layth is a member in The American Laser Study Club and The Canadian Implant Dentistry Network.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Layth values balance and connection in his personal life. He enjoys swimming, fishing, biking, and spending time with family and friends. His journey reflects not only a deep dedication to dentistry but also a passion for lifelong learning and meaningful relationships.
Dr. May (The Artist/Educator)
Dr. May Hafidh, a 1990 graduate and licensed dentist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), provides gentle, comprehensive restorative care focused on preserving natural teeth and overall oral health.
She is the only dentist in Simcoe–Muskoka County fully certified in the Bioclear Method, experienced in cosmetic and functional smile enhancement, anterior rejuvenation, black triangle correction, and complex case management of teeth wear. She has also completed a residency program in functional occlusion from The Institute for Dental Excellence in Toronto enhancing her expertise in managing intricate jaw and occlusion challenges.
Dr. May also trained in sleep disorder dentistry ,managing snoring and sleep apnea through oral appliance therapy and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, helping patients improve airway health, reduce discomfort, and enhance overall well-being.
With over three decades of experience, she combines advanced techniques with a compassionate approach, ensuring every patient feels informed, comfortable, educated and confident in their care at Molson Park Dental in Barrie . Outside of dentistry, Dr. May enjoys spending time in nature and playing the piano, activities that inspire creativity and balance in her life.
